Northern Tanzania has a safari itinerary for everybody and every budget.

The Serengeti offers the best opportunity to experience the vast African savannas and serenity and can easily be combined with other regions including Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara for a complete northern circuit tour of Tanzania. The Serengeti's massive size and animal population make it possible to experience a very personal safari. We will always strive to show you the true African wilderness – and will get you away from high traffic areas laden with vehicles and tourists. Only then, once you’re completely immersed in your surroundings and observing the animals and nature without any distractions, will you notice the small subtleties and nuances of Africa that will remain with you forever.

Each person has his or her own ideas of their ideal vacation in Tanzania and we make it our mission to help create that ideal safari. Whether your focus lies in seeing the big five or you dream of exploring the travelled regions of Tanzania, we’ve got you covered. For those craving exercise and wishing to get even closer to nature we recommend incorporating walking safaris and mountain biking in your itinerary. We can create family safaris for one or more families wishing to travel together. For newlyweds or couples seeking a bit of romance we’re happy to put together a romantic safari.

The biggest cost factor when creating safari holidays is lodging. Our lodging options range from tented camping to small lodges and hotels to luxury tented lodges. Incorporating all three will allow you to sample the different styles and locations. However, if you’re not keen on more traditional camping with solar heated showers, etc. or if you’d rather skip the luxury accommodation to keep within budget, the choice is yours. We suggest a minimum of eight days for a safari to avoid fatigue and allow you time to decompress, but we’re happy to plan safaris from as short as six days to as long as you'd like! We also recommend that children be at least ten years of age to fully enjoy the safari experience. The drives start very early, go on for several hours and can sometimes be very bumpy, which can be overwhelming for younger folks.
